What is Reuse Market?

　Reuse Market is the event that Osaka university graduates provide various furniture and consumer electronics for people who want to get them.
　The following are the details of this event’s purpose.

At "Reuse Market 2020" which was held March 2020, 57 graduates provided goods and 88 groups got these goods.

System of Reuse Market

　We organize the Reuse Market according to the order below.

Collecting furniture from graduates’ house

　On Saturday, Sunday and National holiday from the middle of February to the last of March, we are going to visit graduates who offer their furniture, and collect them free of charge.
　When we visit graduates, we will have them write messages to future owners.
In this year, we will collect old clothes. And then, we will donate to a support organization.

Cleaning and operation checking of furniture

　Then we remove stains and perform simple operation of them; we make furniture cleaner.

The day

　Visitors have two chances to obtain furniture; "Normal Time "and "Free Time".

The voice of participants

We introduce the part of the voices that participant of this event last year or earlier.

• The staffs were polite to me. Thank you very much.
• This event is very meaningful to freshmen because the event can decrease their economic load and improve everyday life.
• Some freshmen have no financial leeway because of paying various expenses and living expenses. It is very helpful for them to decrease moving expenses.
• It's sad to see things in good shape being disposed as garbage.
• Good for everyone.

About us

　Hello.We are "Osaka Univ. Co-op Student Committee, Dep. of Environment".
　Our group is putting much effort into environmental activities within Osaka University Co-op student committee: commonly called "GI".
　We want Co-op members to take part in many environmental activities and to feel familiar with environmental activities. We have interesting events, such as Reuse Market and environmental activities in the university festival, etc.
